Feng Shui Tips for Love

In life, love is always important. Love can do so many wonderful things in our life. It inspires us and makes us happy. It leads us to do positive things not only for ourselves and our families but for other people as well. However, we must not be complacent about love being always there in our life. We should find ways to nurture it every day.

In feng shui, there are guidelines we can follow to ensure that love will blossom in our life and in our home. Feng shui practitioners suggest adjusting our environment accordingly in order to attract love. Taking away clutter and putting pleasant images are just some ways to drive Cupid to your home.

If you have photos, paintings and sculptures of lone figures at home, replace them with images representing happy people or couples. Having these photos will surely affect your love emotions.

Never put the television in your bedroom as it represents negativity. If you have sleeping problems, try reading books and romantic novels instead.

For your bed, go for the queen size because a huge mattress won't promote intimacy. A comfortable queen size bed is just right for you and the love of your life. If, for instance, you already have a king size bed, the most you can do is to use patterned sheets for a more passionate sex life. Buy new pillows, blankets and sheets if you like and be sure to choose designs that will make you stay long in bed.

Avoid putting family photos in your bedroom. Remember that this particular room in your home symbolizes your love life and should therefore be a private retreat. Photos of your parents, siblings as well as artworks and toys of your kids should be placed in other areas. Use soft furnishings and colors as well. Other things to avoid in the bedroom are water features like water bowls and aquariums because they can result in loss.

Improve your relationship gua by putting a love seat with adjustable lighting. The relationship gua in feng shui is located at the far right corner of your home when you stand at your front door. This area represents relationships and should, therefore, be kept intimate and attractive.

Did you know, too, that colors are vital in your love life? Pink and red can provide more excitement to your romantic life. Soft hues like rose, salmon and coral can draw a gentle partner who is attentive to your needs while bright colors of scarlet, crimson and burgundy will attract an adventurer to your life.

To further enhance the love chi in your home, you can use some feng shui accessories in the southwest corner. These include natural quartz crystals, wind chimes, paintings of high mountains, jasper, a crystal chandelier and bowl of crystals and three candles inside.

To increase love emotions between you and your partner, you can place a crystal heart inside a velvet pouch and place it inside a night table. To nurture your marriage, colors and objects should be balanced ? never too masculine or too feminine. In addition, you can place love knots on pictures of you and your spouse to promote smooth chi in your relationship.
